Read John 1:35-37. How do the people around John respond to his message? Read John 3:22-30. As John continued to point people to Jesus, his ministry became smaller. Why do you think he was okay with this? What analogy does he give to explain his attitude? Why is it so important for us to point people to Jesus and not just church?
Read John 1:38-39. What do you think it would be like to spend a day with Jesus? What would you ask him? What do you think he would say to you?
Read John 1:40-42. What does Andrew do in this story? Who pointed you to Jesus? Looking back, why was it so important that they did that for you? Have you ever pointed people to Jesus? How did that feel?
Read Read Acts 1:8. What does it mean to be a witness? Matthew 9:9-13 and John 4:28-30. What was Matthew’s response to following Jesus and the woman’s response to finding Jesus?
Read Philemon 6, 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 and Colossians 4:2-6. What reasons are given to share our faith? What motivations do you see? What does it look like in daily life?
Read Romans 10:12-14, John 14:6, Acts 4:12 and 1 John 5:11,12. Why is so important to be active in sharing our faith? Based on our study, what do you think God wants you to do? Is there someone that God has put on your heart to reach?
